Alexander Dias

Chief Executive Officer
Nassau Global Credit

Alex joined Angel Island Capital in 2020. Prior to AIC, he was Director of US Portfolio Finance and Internal Business Strategy within Global Treasury at Citadel LLC, where he managed the US Portfolio Finance team providing secured financing solutions for the equities, credit, quantitative and commodities businesses. Before joining Citadel in 2006, Alex was an Analyst at Citigroup Corporate & Investment Bank focusing on Structured Corporate Finance. Mr. Dias earned a BA, cum laude, in Economics from Columbia University.

Jonathan R. Insull

Chief Investment Officer
Nassau Global Credit

Jonathan joined AIC in 2022. Prior to AIC, Jonathan was with Crescent Capital Group, a $30+Bn alternative asset manager focused on high yield corporate credit in the US and Europe. At Crescent, he served in a variety of investment roles across the platform, including as a portfolio manager, President of Crescent's BDC, and as a member of many of the firm's investment and risk management committees. He previously worked at The Chase Manhattan Bank where he gained significant experience in restructurings and workouts. Jonathan received his MBA in Finance with Distinction from New York University and earned a BA summa cum laude from Hobart College where he studied Economics and Mathematics and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Edward Vietor

Portfolio Manager

Mr. Vietor is a Portfolio Manager for NCC’s CLOs and a member of NCC’s US Credit Committee. Mr. Vietor has over 24 years of leveraged lending experience and significant experience in CLO execution and management. Prior to joining Nassau Corporate Credit, Mr. Vietor spent eight years at Alcentra as a Senior Analyst and Portfolio Manager within the U.S. credit team covering Sub Investment Grade Fixed Income investments in the Cable and Telecommunication sectors while also having responsibilities for U.S. CLO portfolio construction, monitoring and surveillance. Prior to joining Alcentra, Mr. Vietor spent over two years as a Senior Analyst for Hamilton Loan Asset Management covering the Technology, Media, Telecom and Entertainment industries. Prior to joining Hamilton Loan Asset Management, Mr. Vietor worked as a Vice President for the Bank of New York Mellon’s Media Banking Division developing lending relationships with companies in the Publishing, Broadcasting, Theatre, Cable and Internet sectors, with a primary focus on leveraged transactions. He received his formal credit training at the Bank of New York Mellon and earned a dual BA in Economics and History from Connecticut College.

Chris LaJaunie, CFA

Head of Credit Research

Chris LaJaunie, CFA heads NCC’s Credit Research effort and is a member of the US Credit Committee. Chris covers Energy, Oil and Gas, and Utilities. He brings over 25 years of investing experience to the team, most recently as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Head Trader for Global Equities for Shelton Capital, and Senior Portfolio Manager and Analyst for Rivington/WHV Investments. He was also co-lead portfolio manager and analyst of four investment strategies at Victory Capital: Victory International Fund, International Select, Global Select, and Global Select Long/Short. Before Victory, Mr. LaJaunie was a lead analyst at Deutsche Asset Management on the DWS International and DWS International Select Equity investment strategies, and Portfolio Manager of a global long/short global resources and commodities portfolio at Morgan Stanley Capital Strategies. He was a senior analyst on the Emerging Markets Absolute Return Equities team at Oaktree Capital, and also worked with the Distressed Debt team on US utility restructurings. He earned an MFA in English and Literature from Louisiana State University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Ari Bruger

Head of Restructuring and Workout

Ari Bruger heads NCC’s Restructuring and Workout efforts across all sectors, working with the rest of the credit team to estimate and maximize recovery. He is also a member of the US Credit Committee. Mr. Bruger brings over 21 years of relevant experience most recently as a leveraged finance investment banker at Société Générale. Prior to Société Générale, Mr. Bruger held roles in leveraged finance banking at HSBC and Credit Suisse and prior to that was a CLO analyst for Hillmark Capital covering the Industrial, Power, Automotive, Aerospace, Transportation & Healthcare sectors. Mr. Bruger also has experience in distressed credit from his time at Schultze Asset Management. Mr. Bruger earned a BS in Finance from the Sy Syms Schools of Business at Yeshiva University and a JD from Harvard Law School.

Rich Moskowitz

Senior Analyst

Rich Moskowitz is a member of the NCC US Credit Committee who covers investments in the Healthcare and Technology sectors. He brings over 15 years of relevant experience, most recently as a research analyst at York Capital Management where he covered investments in the Healthcare and TMT sectors for their CLO portfolios. Prior to York Capital Management, Mr. Moskowitz was a research analyst at CIFC where he was responsible for investments in leveraged loans across the Cable, Telecommunications, Printing, and Homebuilding sectors. Mr. Moskowitz also worked as a CLO analyst at CIFC, responsible for Indenture review, portfolio analytics, and CLO reporting. He began his career in the Structured Finance Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Moskowitz earned a BS in Management from Binghamton University.

Julie Shattuck

Senior Analyst

Julie Shattuck covers investments in the Consumer Goods, Services, and Retail sectors. She brings over 19 years of relevant experience, most recently as a Vice President and Senior Research Analyst for high yield investments at State Street Global Advisors, covering consumer and industrial sectors. Prior to State Street Global Advisors, Ms. Shattuck was at GE Asset Management for 14 years in various roles, most recently as a Senior Research Analyst for high yield investments. Prior to that, she worked as a Research Analyst in Structured Products and CLO investments. Ms. Shattuck earned a BS in Business Administration from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.

Svetlana Ayrapetyants

Credit Analyst

Svetlana Ayrapetyants covers investments in the Building Products, Containers & Packaging, and Machinery sectors while also providing analytical support across all sectors to the Senior Analysts. She has over 8 years of relevant experience, most recently as a Credit Analyst Co-op at CIFC. Prior to CIFC, Ms. Ayrapetyants spent five years at Ernst & Young, where she rose to the position of Senior Auditor. She earned an MBA with a concentration in Investment Finance from Northeastern University and a BS (Honors) in Economics from the University of Westminster.

Emmet Browne

Credit Analyst

Emmet Browne, CFA, CAIA covers credit investments in the Gaming, Professional Services and Other sectors while also providing analytical support across all sectors to the Senior Analysts. He has over 10 years of relevant experience in the industry and previously served as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and Senior Manager at Capital One. Prior to Capital One, Mr. Browne spent 5 years as a Credit Analyst at Allied Irish Bank in New York, primarily covering speculative grade loans in the TMT sector. Emmet began his career as a Banking Associate working for the Central Bank of Ireland. He earned a MSc in Corporate Finance and a BSc in Finance from University College Cork, Ireland and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations.

Christopher Hagens

Credit Analyst

Christopher Hagens covers investments in the Technology, Financial Services, Professional Services and Media sectors. He has over 9 years of relevant experience in the industry and previously worked as a Credit Analyst at Insight Investment (neé Cutwater Asset Management). He earned a BA in Economics (Honors) at the State University of New York at Albany and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Jason Reyes

Credit Analyst

Jason Reyes is a Jr Credit Analyst that provides analytical support across all sectors for the Senior Analysts. Mr. Reyes was awarded a scholarship to attend a work/study program in New York City in which he interned at Nassau Corporate Credit while studying at The University of Texas: New York. He earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.

James Uko, CFA

Credit Analyst

James Uko, CFA covers investments in the Chemicals, Food Products, and Other sectors while also providing analytic support across all sectors to the Senior Analysts. Mr. Uko was previously at Standard & Poor’s, where he was a Ratings Associate covering the Healthcare sector. He earned a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at Carnegie Mellon University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Andrew Wood

Credit Analyst

Andrew Wood covers Aerospace & Defense, Telecom and Cable, as well as providing analytical support across all sectors for the Senior Analysts. Mr. Wood was previously at Two Roads Brewing Co., a highly successful microbrewery where he worked in Business Operations and Accounting. He earned a BS in Finance from the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University.

Rob Lambert

Head of Trading

Rob Lambert is a Director and Head of Trading for Nassau Corporate Credit. Mr. Lambert was previously Chief Investment Officer for Endeavor Plus, Inc., a start-up insurance company. Prior to Endeavor, he was a Partner, Member of the Investment Committee and Head of Developed Market for BTG Pactual Asset Management and, before that, Principal and Senior Vice President at Harbinger Capital Partners, where he functioned as the head trader, launched and managed a $1bn long/short credit hedge fund, was actively engaged in product development and restructurings in the telecommunications sector. Mr. Lambert also has prior experience as a senior high yield bond trader with institutions such as RBC Capital Markets, BNP Paribas Securities, Societe Generale and Chase Securities. He began his professional career at Bankers Trust Company in the Merchant Banking Group. Mr. Lambert earned a B.A. in Economics from Williams College and graduated from the BTG Executive Leadership Series course at Harvard Business School.

David Chow

Director of Reporting & Analytics

David Chow is the Nassau Corporate Credit Director of Reporting & Analytics, responsible for managing indenture compliance, reporting and portfolio analytics. Mr. Chow brings over 19 years of related experience to the role. Prior to joining Nassau Corporate Credit, Mr. Chow spent four years as an Assistant Vice President and the Reporting Manager for the Bank Loan Group at Cutwater. Prior to Cutwater, Mr. Chow worked in the CLO group at Apollo Global Management (co-sourced with Gravitas Technology) where he was responsible for operations and compliance on both traditional and market value CLOs. Mr. Chow earned a B.S. in Business Administration (BSBA) from the Boston University School of Management.

John Roth

Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

John Roth is the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for NCC. Prior to joining the Nassau Financial Group in January 2017, Mr. Roth was the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Venor Capital Management LP. Prior to Venor, he was Vice President and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for Harbinger Capital Partners LLC, and an Assistant General Counsel for Harbert Management Corporation. Mr. Roth is licensed to practice law in New York, Connecticut and Alabama, and is an adjunct instructor at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University. Mr. Roth earned a BS in Finance from Auburn University, MA in Banking & Finance from the University of Alabama, JD (Magna Cum Laude) from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University, LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law, and EdD from New York University.

Paul Meloche

Portfolio Manager, NCC UK

Paul Meloche, Managing Director, focuses on building NCC’s capabilities to act as an issuer and manager of CLOs in Europe and as an investor in the securities issued by third-party European CLO managers. A focused portfolio manager with over 17 years experience in the European CLO industry, Mr. Meloche previously served as Portfolio Manager – Euro CLO Trading/CLO Issuance for Ellington Management Group. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of positions including structured credit investing at West Face Capital Inc., as well as roles in CLO structuring at Barclays Capital and Banc of America Securities. He earned a BSc in Chemistry (Physical) from McGill University and MSc in Management Science (Applied Optimization) from the University of Waterloo.

Hekeani Mathieu

Portfolio Manager, NCC UK

Hekeani (Hek) Mathieu, plays a leading role in building out NCC’s capabilities as a Portfolio Manager of NCC UK CLOs, as well as other forms of high yield corporate credit funds in Europe. She is also a member of the NCC's UK Credit Committee. She brings over 15 years of experience as an investment professional across private and public credit, serving as a Portfolio Manager for Ellington Management Group, focused on leveraged loans and high yield bonds. Earlier in her career, she held a variety of credit investment and analyst positions at Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Haymarket Financial. She earned a BBA from HEC Montreal and MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

John ("Jack") Hale, CFA

Senior Credit Analyst, NCC UK

Jack Hale is a senior credit analyst on the Nassau Corporate Credit investment team and a member of the NCC UK Credit Committee, based in London and covering investments across sectors for the UK business. Jack has over 11 years of experience, most recently working as a member of Insight Investment N. America's (née Cutwater Asset Management) HY credit team. Prior to joining the Cutwater HY credit team in 2014, Jack spent three years on the structured finance desk within Cutwater's portfolio management group. He earned a BA at Georgetown University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Jacob Parker

Credit Analyst, NCC UK

Jacob Parker is a credit analyst on the Nassau Corporate Credit UK team, covering investments across Healthcare & Pharma and Consumer related sectors. Jacob has over 4 years of experience. Prior to joining Nassau, he worked as a high yield and distressed debt credit analyst for Reorg Research. He earned a BA (Finance/Accounting) at Flinders University in South Australia.

Momchil Petkov

Credit Analyst, NCC UK

Momchil Petkov is a credit analyst on the Nassau Corporate Credit UK team, covering investments across industrials and business services. Momchil has over 8 years of experience. Prior to joining Nassau, he was at Mizuho where he focused on high yield and emerging market credits. Momchil earned a BA at Vassar College and a MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Kester Maralang

Manager of Reporting & Analytics, NCC UK

Kester Maralang is the Manager of Reporting & Analytics on the Nassau Corporate Credit UK team, responsible for reporting and portfolio analytics. Kester has over 6 years of experience. Prior to joining Nassau, he worked as an Associate at CVC Credit for almost 2 years. Prior to that, he spent over 3 years as an Assistant Vice President at US Bank in the CLO team. He began his career in structured credit by working as an Analyst for the CLO platform at Trepp. Kester holds an MSc in Applied Statistics from Birkbeck, University of London and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Autonóma de Madrid.
